GM GenV LT Drivetrain Mount Kit

Swapping a LT engine and drivetrain into your vehicle brings a myriad of benefits. The LT/GenV series engines are renowned for their power, reliability, and efficiency, offering a significant upgrade in performance over many of the factory configurations. When combined with it being a budget-friendly platform and having an array of aftermarket support, this has become a popular alternative to the more expensive drivetrain options.
 
When designing engine and transmission mounts, drivetrain positioning is critical. The factory HMMWV/Hummer H1 engine insulators can separate causing excessive engine movement that can lead to drivetrain damage. Our redesigned engine brackets in conjunction with the Holley Blackheart LT Clamshell mounts help reduce drivetrain vibrations and better secure the drivetrain. These specifically designed mounts keep the center of gravity low while providing the necessary clearance for low mount ac compressors, rock protection, exhaust crossover clearance and servicability from the front. Both mounts are precision TIG welded for maximum heat penetration and delivered in raw steel. The provided engine mount shims account for small variances in applications to help fine tune the engine positioning.
 
Unlike the factory transmission crossmember, our design is boxed in to ensure optimal strength for the most rugged terrain and features easy access cutouts for mounting hardware. This crossmember fits all 6L80 and 8L90 tranmission combinations that were fitted to the GenV engines using the GenV factory tranmission insulators.
